Kairona is a blind-date experience that connects two people for a real-world meet-up. You and your match both agree to show up at the same time and place—no swiping, no endless chatting. Just one confirmed date.
Join the waitlist and tell us a bit about yourself. When we launch, we'll match you with someone compatible. You both get the same time and venue. You show up, say "Kairona?", and meet your date in person. Simple as that.
Yes—the core experience is free. "Blind date" means you don't see each other's photo or profile before the date; you discover each other when you meet. Optional extras (like seeing a photo early or choosing the venue) may be available later for members who want them.
We're launching in Christchurch and Canterbury first. Once we're running smoothly there, we'll look at expanding. Join the waitlist and tick "Early access in Christchurch" to be first in line.
Friends can refer you or join the waitlist themselves—we'll add ways to connect with friends as we grow. Your data is used only to run the service and match you; we don't sell your information. We take privacy seriously and keep things minimal.
